Discover the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Nile onboard a traditional Egyptian wooden boat on this half-day tour with your Egyptologist.
Be picked up from your hotel as you’ll drive to Luxor West Bank to see the Valley of the Kings. You’ll learn why it was once called the “Gates of the Kings” or the “Place of Truth” and the mighty kings who once lay there in stone sarcophagus, awaiting immortality, including Tutankhamun.
Then, you’ll explore the temple of Hatshepsut, rising out of the desert and hear how, in 1876, the greatest mummy find in history was made.
Next, before crossing the River Nile to Luxor East Bank, you’ll stop off at two 60-foot stone statues that have stood for more than 3,000 years. You’ll then relax onboard the felucca for an hour sailing along the Nile, observing Luxor City
Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Luxor before heading to the West Bank of Luxor with your Egyptologist guide.
Your first visit is to the legendary Valley of the Kings, once known as the “Gates of the Kings” and the “Place of Truth.” Discover the fascinating stories behind the mighty pharaohs who were buried here in stone sarcophagi, including the famous King Tutankhamun, as they prepared for their journey into eternity.

Next, stop at the impressive Colossi of Memnon, two enormous stone statues that have stood proudly for more than 3,000 years.
After exploring Luxor’s West Bank, cross the River Nile toward the East Bank and enjoy a relaxing one-hour Felucca experience. Sail aboard a traditional Egyptian wooden boat and take in the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views of Luxor City along the Nile.
At the end of your experience, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
