At Nuvago Travel & Tourism (“Nuvago”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), the health, safety, and well-being of our customers, employees, partners, and suppliers are our highest priorities. We are committed to providing travel experiences that are safe, professionally managed, and conducted in accordance with applicable laws, industry standards, and responsible tourism practices.

This Health & Safety Policy outlines our commitment to maintaining high safety standards while encouraging travelers to actively participate in creating a safe and enjoyable travel experience.

1. Purpose of This Policy

The purpose of this policy is to establish health and safety principles that apply to all travel services arranged or provided by Nuvago Travel & Tourism. It also defines the shared responsibilities of Nuvago, our suppliers, and our customers in promoting safe travel experiences.

2. Our Commitment to Health and Safety

We are committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety throughout every stage of our services. Whenever reasonably possible, we work with licensed and reputable suppliers who share our commitment to safe operations and professional service.

Our commitment includes:

  • Working with qualified service providers.
  • Encouraging compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Monitoring operational standards where reasonably practicable.
  • Providing customers with relevant travel information.
  • Supporting travelers during unexpected situations whenever possible.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Travel safety is a shared responsibility. Customers are expected to take reasonable care of their own health and safety throughout their journey.

Customers should:

  • Follow instructions provided by guides, drivers, tour leaders, hotels, and local authorities.
  • Comply with local laws and regulations.
  • Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for planned activities.
  • Carry required medications and personal medical supplies.
  • Maintain valid travel documents.

  • Respect safety barriers, warning signs, and restricted areas.

4. Medical Conditions

Customers are responsible for informing Nuvago, before travel whenever reasonably possible, of any medical condition, disability, allergy, dietary restriction, mobility limitation, or other circumstance that may affect their travel arrangements.

Providing this information enables us to make reasonable efforts to coordinate suitable arrangements with our suppliers where available.

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may limit our ability to provide appropriate assistance.

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that every traveler obtains comprehensive travel insurance before departure.

Travel insurance should ideally include coverage for:

  • Medical expenses.
  • Emergency medical evacuation.
  • Trip cancellation.
  • Trip interruption.
  • Personal liability.
  • Lost or delayed baggage.
  • Travel delays.
  • Personal accidents.

Travel insurance provides important financial protection and may assist travelers during unexpected situations beyond the control of Nuvago.

6. Transportation Safety

Nuvago seeks to work with transportation providers that operate in accordance with applicable licensing and safety requirements.

Customers are expected to:

  • Wear seat belts where available.
  • Follow driver instructions.
  • Board and exit vehicles safely.
  • Supervise children at all times.
  • Avoid distracting drivers during travel.

7. Accommodation Safety

Hotels and accommodation providers are responsible for maintaining their own health and safety standards. Nevertheless, travelers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with emergency exits, fire procedures, and hotel safety information upon arrival.

If any safety concern is identified during the stay, customers should immediately notify both the accommodation provider and Nuvago so that appropriate assistance can be provided whenever possible.

8. Activities and Excursions Safety

Some tours, excursions, and recreational activities may involve a degree of inherent risk depending on the nature of the activity. Customers are encouraged to carefully assess their personal health, physical fitness, experience, and abilities before participating.

Participants are expected to:

  • Follow all instructions provided by guides and activity operators.
  • Use any required safety equipment correctly.
  • Remain within designated areas.
  • Avoid activities that exceed their physical capabilities.
  • Immediately report any unsafe conditions or accidents.

Nuvago reserves the right to refuse participation in an activity if it reasonably believes that participation could pose a risk to the individual or others.

9. Food and Water Safety

Food safety standards may vary between destinations. Travelers are encouraged to exercise reasonable care when consuming food and beverages during their journey.

Customers should consider:

  • Drinking bottled or properly treated water where recommended.
  • Consuming food prepared by reputable establishments.
  • Informing restaurants of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Maintaining appropriate personal hygiene before meals.
  • Following local public health guidance.

Nuvago cannot guarantee the quality or preparation of food provided by independent restaurants, hotels, or third-party suppliers.

10. Emergency Situations

In the event of an emergency, Nuvago will make reasonable efforts to assist travelers by coordinating with local authorities, emergency services, medical providers, embassies, airlines, hotels, and other relevant organizations where appropriate.

Customers should:

  • Immediately contact local emergency services if urgent assistance is required.
  • Notify Nuvago as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Follow the instructions of emergency personnel and local authorities.
  • Cooperate with reasonable requests for information.

Emergency assistance provided by Nuvago does not replace the services of local emergency responders or travel insurance providers.

These requirements may include:

  • Vaccination requirements.
  • Health declarations.
