Payment Policy

This Payment Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments made to Nuvago Travel for travel services, reservations, tour packages, transportation, accommodation, excursions, and any other products or services offered by the Company.

The purpose of this Policy is to establish transparent payment procedures, protect both Travelers and the Company, reduce financial disputes, and ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

This Policy forms an integral part of the contractual relationship between Nuvago Travel and the Traveler and should be read together with the Company’s Terms & Conditions, Booking Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Policy is to define the financial obligations applicable to all bookings made through Nuvago Travel and to establish consistent procedures governing deposits, balances, accepted payment methods, payment verification, currency, invoicing, and financial security.

2. Scope of Application

This Policy applies to every payment made to Nuvago Travel through the Company’s official website, payment links, online payment gateways, bank transfers, authorized payment processors, or any other officially approved payment channel.The Policy applies to payments relating to:
  • Private Tours;
  • Group Tours;
  • Tailor-Made Holidays;
  • Nile Cruises;
  • Hotel Reservations;
  • Airport Transfers;
  • Transportation Services;
  • Excursions;
  • Corporate Travel;
  • Travel Consultation Services;
  • Additional Optional Services.

3. Accepted Payment Methods

Payments may be accepted through one or more officially approved payment methods as determined by the Company from time to time.Accepted payment methods may include:
  • Credit Cards;
  • Debit Cards;
  • Secure Online Payment Gateways;
  • Official Payment Links;
  • Bank Transfers;
  • Cash Payments where legally permitted;
  • Other payment methods expressly approved by the Company.
The availability of any payment method may vary depending on the Traveler’s country of residence, the selected travel services, applicable legal requirements, and payment provider capabilities.

4. Payment Currency

Unless otherwise stated in writing, payments shall be made in the currency specified on the quotation, invoice, Booking Confirmation, or payment request issued by the Company.Where payments are processed in a currency different from the Traveler’s card or bank account currency, exchange rates and conversion charges may be applied by the Traveler’s financial institution or payment provider. Such charges are outside the Company’s control and remain the responsibility of the Traveler.

5. Deposits

Certain travel services require a deposit before reservations can be processed or secured with Suppliers.The amount and due date of any required deposit shall be communicated during the booking process and may vary according to Supplier requirements, destination, travel season, and the nature of the requested services.Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, payment of a deposit alone does not constitute confirmation of the booking. A reservation becomes confirmed only after Supplier acceptance, successful payment verification where applicable, and issuance of the Company’s official Booking Confirmation.

6. Final Payment

The Traveler shall pay any remaining balance by the deadline specified in the Booking Confirmation, invoice, or other written communication issued by the Company.Failure to complete payment by the applicable due date may result in cancellation of the reservation, Supplier cancellation charges, delays in issuing travel documentation, or other consequences described in the Booking Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7. Payment Confirmation

Payments shall be deemed received only after successful processing and confirmation by the relevant financial institution or authorized payment provider.Submission of payment instructions, screenshots, transfer requests, or payment notifications shall not in themselves constitute confirmation that payment has been successfully received by the Company.

8. Invoices and Payment Records

The Company may issue quotations, invoices, receipts, payment confirmations, or other financial documentation relating to the Traveler’s reservation.Travelers are encouraged to retain copies of all financial documents for their records and to notify the Company promptly if any discrepancy is identified.

9. Payment Verification

To safeguard Travelers, Suppliers, and the Company against fraud, unauthorized transactions, financial crime, and payment disputes, Nuvago Travel reserves the right to verify any payment before confirming or processing a reservation.Verification procedures may include, where reasonably necessary:
  • Confirmation of the payment transaction;
  • Verification of the payer’s identity;
  • Confirmation of card ownership where permitted by applicable law;
  • Verification of bank transfer details;
  • Additional documentation requested for security or compliance purposes.
The Company may delay processing a reservation until the verification process has been successfully completed.

10. Fraud Prevention

Nuvago Travel maintains reasonable security measures designed to identify suspicious transactions and reduce the risk of fraud, identity theft, unauthorized payments, and other unlawful financial activities. The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any reservation where it reasonably believes that a payment may involve fraudulent activity, unauthorized use of a payment instrument, false identity, sanctions violations, money laundering concerns, or any other activity prohibited by applicable law.Where appropriate, the Company may cooperate with financial institutions, payment processors, law enforcement authorities, or competent governmental agencies as required by applicable law.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Travelers are encouraged to contact the Company directly before initiating any chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute with their financial institution or payment provider.The Company will make reasonable efforts to investigate payment concerns promptly and seek an amicable resolution where possible.Where a chargeback is initiated in relation to services that have already been confirmed, provided, or lawfully supplied, the Company reserves the right to contest the chargeback using supporting contractual documentation, booking records, payment records, and other relevant evidence.

12. Taxes and Government Charges

Quoted prices may include taxes, service charges, or governmental fees where expressly indicated. Certain destinations or Suppliers may impose additional taxes, tourism fees, city taxes, environmental charges, or governmental levies that are payable directly by the Traveler.The Traveler remains responsible for paying any mandatory governmental charges that are not expressly included within the confirmed booking price.

13. Third-Party Payment Providers

The Company may utilize independent third-party payment processors to securely process electronic payments.Such payment providers operate under their own contractual terms, privacy policies, and security procedures. While the Company exercises reasonable care in selecting reputable providers, it does not control their independent systems or operational decisions.Travelers should review the applicable policies of the selected payment provider before completing an online payment.

14. Refund Processing

Any refund approved by the Company shall be processed in accordance with the applicable Booking Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, Supplier conditions, and the original payment method where reasonably practicable.The time required for a refund to appear in the Traveler’s account may vary depending on the payment provider, financial institution, banking procedures, or card issuer.The Company shall not be responsible for processing delays attributable to third-party financial institutions or payment providers after the refund has been successfully initiated.

15. Payment Security

The Company is committed to maintaining commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect payment information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or destruction.Electronic payments are processed through secure payment solutions selected by the Company. However, no method of electronic transmission or internet-based payment can be guaranteed to be completely secure.Travelers should take appropriate precautions to protect their own devices, payment credentials, passwords, and banking information when making online payments.

16. Compliance with Financial Regulations

The Company complies with applicable financial, regulatory, and legal obligations governing payment processing, fraud prevention, sanctions compliance, and anti-money laundering requirements to the extent applicable to its business operations.Where required by law, the Company may decline, suspend, or delay a transaction pending completion of legally required verification or compliance procedures.

17. Policy Amendments

Nuvago Travel reserves the right to amend this Payment Policy from time to time in response to legal developments, regulatory changes, operational requirements, improvements in payment technologies, or modifications to the Company’s business practices.The most recent version of this Policy shall be published on the Company’s official website together with the applicable effective date.

18. Governing Law

This Payment Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under applicable law.Any dispute arising from or relating to this Policy should first be addressed through good-faith discussions between the Parties. Where no amicable resolution can be achieved, the matter shall be submitted to the courts having competent jurisdiction in the Arab Republic of Egypt, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
